Part-Time Receptionist / Administrator

About the role
Due to an upcoming retirement, we are seeking a friendly, professional and well-organised Receptionist/Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis in Carron House at the Port of Grangemouth. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in delivering a welcoming and efficient reception service. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part-time role within a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming visitors to Forth Ports ensuring a positive and professional first impression of the company.
Managing incoming calls efficiently, ensuring they are handled courteously and professionally at all times.
Overseeing the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to recipients.
Maintaining a tidy, presentable and welcoming reception area.
Providing general administrative support, including filing, photocopying and managing the provision of stationery along with raising any purchase orders required.
Assisting the Purchase Ledger team with tasks such as invoice scanning, template management and reconciling supplier statements.
Supporting the Finance PA/Marketing Administrator with stock audits and other ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Hours of Work
This is a part-time position and the hours of work are 14.5 per week
Monday and Tuesday - 0900-1700

Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a reception or customer service role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational ability, with the capacity to multi-task effectively.
Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Flexible approach to working hours to co-ordinate annual leave cover with our other part-time Receptionist/Administrator.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.
