General Manager
An exciting opportunity for a General Manager has arisen at our Honda showroom in Dungannon.
Reporting to the Site Director and Head of Honda franchise, the ideal candidate will have a hands-on, positive approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a dynamic established Sales & Aftersales team. You will be driven and passionate to achieve agreed sales and aftersales targets within the defined operating and financial guidelines. You will deliver an exception customer service experience whilst implement plans to optimize the full potential of the departments.
About the role
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Work effectively to achieve and sustain the optimal level and quality of sales
· Develop sales opportunities to maximise opportunities for the range of products
· Dynamically and professionally meet sales volumes and achieve generate exemplary levels of customer satisfaction
· Ensure the team continuously deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction to every customer
· Ensure agreed profitability targets are met through the optimisation of sales opportunities combined with appropriate control of costs and expenditure
· To ensure expert and prompt advice is being provided to new and existing customers regarding the various finance and insurance products that are available with the sale of their new car
· Organise departmental forecasts and reports in a clear and timely manner
· Monitor department performance against budget, identify any shortfall and implement plans to improve the performance
· Work with the Retailer to adhere and improve KPIs and CSI
· Adhere to FCA compliance
· A Health and Safety mindset
· Champion the core values and culture of Donnelly Group
· Ensure the dealership is compliant with Honda’s Franchise Standards at all times

The Person:
· At least 2 years previous sales management experience within the motor industry is essential
· Knowledge of trade in values, costing and presenting deals is essential
· Must have a proven track record in high level sales and customer satisfaction
· Must possess strong managerial and communication skills
· Must be organised, administratively competent and dedicated to achieving results.
· Ability to work under pressure
· Be able to work independently and also as part of a team
· Should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Experience of Kerridge is desirable or another CRM software package
· A full driving licence is essential for the position
· The ability to train, coach and motivate the Service team to develop them to their full potential
· Proactively drive continuous improvements to processes to ensure an exceptional level of customer service is always delivered.
· Confident in handling and resolving customer issues, dealing personally with any escalations
· Outstanding interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
· Innovative individual, willing to explore new methods of driving performance
