About the role
Role & responsibilities
As a Product Specialist you will be required to use your expert knowledge to engage and create excitement in customers as a first point of contact in the dealership. It is, therefore, important that you are comfortable interacting and quickly building rapport with existing and new customers; also with colleagues in your team. You will direct customers to Sales when an interest to buy becomes apparent and assist with customer handovers.
You will present Honda vehicles and their latest technology both in the showroom and out on test drives. You will also keep all dealership staff up to date with the latest information on products to ensure they have a high level of understanding
You will support our marketing activity by taking imagery of vehicles in stock.
Person Specification:
You will be a confident and engaging individual with the ability to put people at ease. You will have a passion for automotive technology and be keen to keep up to date with latest innovations and trends in the automotive world. A strong willingness to help and support other team members.
Essential Criteria:
A full UK driving licence
Eligibility to work in the UK
At least 2 A Levels or equivalent qualification
Previous work experience
IT skills, (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
Flexible to work hours required to carry out the role effectively and travel (to training sessions)
