Assistant Accountant
If this you? - We have a new and an exciting position for an assistant accountant. This is a full time permanent position based in our Head Office in Warrenpoint, County Down, the position will suit an ambitious person who can work flexibly and also be able to use their own initiative in a fast-moving environment.
About the role
Main Duties And Responsibility
Account and bank reconciliations, balance accounts, balance sheet etc
Preparation and reconciliation of Vat returns
Journal and reporting entries
Support management accounts preparation
Supporting internal and external audits
Liaising with suppliers and Managers
Data input and processing
Ability to work effectively as part of a finance team
Use of Sage Line 50 for financial accounts/reports
Uphold Data Protection Policies
Any other Ad hoc duties
What you will need
Required criteria
- At least 2 year's experience as an Assistant Accountant, Finance Officer
- Internal or external auditor experience
- Financial accounts preparation experience
- Strong analytical skills, and ability to assess relevance of information, prioritize and ensure appropriate action
- Experience of working on a finance team producing prompt data/KPI for management
- Experience of Sage Line 50.
