Magill Adams Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisors in Lisburn are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our friendly and professional team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking a flexible role within a supportive practice environment.
What We Offer
Competitive salary of £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
Flexible working options to support work-life balance
Full-time: 35-hour condensed week (Monday to Thursday)
Part-time hours also available
Generous holiday allowance – 32 days per annum (including statutory days)
A focused bookkeeping role with no external debtor collection duties

About the role
Key Responsibilities
Sales ledger reconciliation and credit control
Processing supplier invoices and preparing payment runs
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
Cash flow management and bank reconciliations
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
General bookkeeping and practice administration duties

What you will need
Required criteria
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above (including English and Mathematics, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years’ computerised bookkeeping experience within the last 3 years
- Experience using Sage accounting software
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent numerical, organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired criteria
- AAT Level 3 qualification
