Mobile Customer Service Attendant- Belfast Area

Reports To: Attendant Regional Supervisor/Manager
Responsible For: No Staff
Location: Belfast & Surrounds
Working Hours: 37.5, 5 days Monday to Sunday – 4 week Rota
Salary: £23,490 per annum + Company Car
Parkingeye’s Customer Service Team provide a professional, best-in-class service to all our customers, whether internal, client or external. The Mobile Customer Service Attendant will support company operations by providing effective parking enforcement, customer service and marshalling activity on client sites as required.
You’ll manage patrolling of the car park(s) to ensure the terms and conditions are being adhered to and be first point of contact for customer parking support and technical queries.

About the role
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide customer service and parking related guidance to car park users whilst enforcing the clients parking policy
Proactively patrol the car park(s) to enforce and advise on parking restrictions as required
Issue Parking Charge Notices in accordance with the appropriate legislation and code of practice.
Proactively identify signage/equipment issues which require investigation and provide first line maintenance
Professionally manage challenging conversations with car park users
Take a proactive approach in managing traffic flow on the car park as required
Undertake vehicle immobilisation
Liaise with internal departments and the client to improve parking compliance on-site
Report all Health and Safety risks, incidents & accidents
To adhere to company policy and compliance when enforcement action is required
To remain up to date on the GDPR & H&S requirements of your role

What you will need
Required criteria
- Full Drivers Licence
- A minimum of 1 year’s prior experience in a customer-facing role
- Clear verbal communication to provide direction and deal with enquiries
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work productively under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook
- Basic IT Skills
Desired criteria
- A minimum of 1 year’s prior experience in parking management, site security or other similar service industry
- Previous experience with parking management systems & handheld devices
- Conflict resolution training
- Knowledge of local area
