Fork Lift Truck Driver (Chilled Despatch) £12.96 p/h, 7am - 7pm
The Despatch Forklift Driver/Customer Order Picker is responsible order picking finished product for despatch to our customers, this will involve both manual handling to pick the orders as well as operating a forklift truck, using handheld scanners and general housekeeping.
Our Forklift Truck Driver/Order Picker is responsible for:
Service production lines by use of forklift truck and take away finished product and store safely and correctly in the despatch fridge area.
Load product to vehicles as per loading lines.
Pick all daily customer orders.
Use a daily customer pick sheet manifest.
Pick all customer orders with a scanner.
Pick all stock in correct date rotation for outload.
We currently have roles within our Chilled Food Manufacturing environments. Successful candidates will have a Counterbalance Forklift Licence. Experience working within a similar environment will add weight to your application, but don’t let that put you off.

Chill Area Day-Shift: 7am-7pm 7 days over 14

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, keen to learn, be a good team player, have an ability to pay attention to detail, and have a strong sense of good customer service. The role will involve attaining Company production targets to satisfy customer demands, very often to tight schedules.

- Ability to count accurately
- Ability to work independently and carry out tasks with little supervision

- Forklift/Counterbalance Licence, Pallet Truck Licence
- Experience of forklift truck / pallet truck driving in fast moving environment
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Good Communication Skills
