We are looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead the pre-opening and launch of St. Stephen’s Green Hotel, a 131-bedroom property in one of Dublin’s most prestigious locations.
Combining a contemporary new-build with the conversion of Nos. 92 and 93 St. Stephen’s Green, the hotel is being designed by Suzie McAdam Design. It will bring together architectural heritage, contemporary interiors and a distinctive sense of place—creating a premium lifestyle hotel with authentic Dublin character, international service standards and a relaxed, personal feel.
This is a rare opportunity for a commercially astute hotel leader to shape a new operation from the final pre-opening stages, build an outstanding team and establish a hotel that appeals to visitors and locals alike.
About this role
· The successful pre-opening, launch and ongoing operation of the hotel.
· A distinctive guest experience that brings the hotel’s design, heritage and Dublin identity to life.
· Commercial strategy, revenue growth, annual budgets and profitability.

· Consistent operational standards, compliance, governance and protection of hotel assets.
· Strong relationships with corporate clients, tourism partners, local businesses and the wider Dublin hospitality community.
What you’ll bring· At least five years’ experience as a General Manager or senior hotel leader in a four- or five-star environment.
· A proven record in premium, upper-upscale or lifestyle hotel operations; pre-opening experience is highly desirable.
· Strong commercial judgement, financial literacy and experience managing significant hotel budgets.
· A confident, engaging leadership style and the ability to recruit, develop and inspire a strong team.
· An appreciation for architecture, design, contemporary hospitality and authentic Irish service.
· A good understanding of Dublin’s hotel market and the ability to build lasting local and commercial partnerships.
