Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is currently recruiting for experienced Conference & Banqueting Porter to join the Team.
The Ballymascanlon Hotel is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, this impressive Victorian House forms the heart of this Hotel. It is one of the most remarkable historical estates in Ireland dating back to 833 A.D.
We are now seeking to hire a full time Conference & Banqueting Porter to join our team.
About this role
Main duties and responsibilities:
Events set up and clean up- Prepare conference rooms and event spaces, including arranging furniture, equipment and décor to a high standard.
Technical support- Assist guests with setting up IT equipment, sound systems and AV equipment, ensuring all technology runs smoothly.
Guest assistance- Provide excellent customer service, including assisting guests with their luggage and answering any queries they may have.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of event spaces and public areas.
Assisting with linen and other deliveries and maintaining storage areas.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure events run seamlessly and guest satisfaction is prioritized.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role
Customer focused with an eye for detail
Proficient with IT and previous experience
Ideally have experience working in a Hotel
