Job Title: Transport Placement
Reporting To: General Manager
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm, Fridays 8am – 3.45pm
Location: Dromore, Co. Tyrone.
Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, US and Canada. About this role
Key Activities:
· Provide administrative support to the current team raising and processing transport orders.
· Research and plan new routes to existing destinations.
· Source new suppliers globally ensuring routes and schedules used are efficient and cost effective
· Renegotiate terms with existing suppliers to ensure Euro Auctions remains competitive.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy office environment, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage the administration involved in running an auction. This is a varied and hands-on role where every day brings something different, offering plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and work with a wide range of people. Candidates with French, Spanish or German language skills are particularly encouraged to apply.
While these opportunities are initially aimed at third year placement students, they are also open to fresh graduates eager to gain valuable international business experience.

The Requirements
Essential Criteria:
· Be studying towards a third level discipline preferably in Logistics (other disciplines will be considered)
· Ability to work fulltime for 12-15 months.
· Show proficiency in entire MS Office suite especially Excel.
· Sound geographical knowledge.
· Ability to report and summarise.
· Excellent forward planning skills with the ability to problem solve in pressured situations
· Must be eligible to live, work and remain in the UK, within 1 hour’s commute of the office you are applying to
