Recruitment Coordinator (£15/hr 30hrs per week)

Recruitment Coordinator

£15.00 per hour | 30 hours per week | Home Based + Regional Travel

Are you great at spotting people who will make a real difference in care?

At Hill Care, we don't just recruit to fill vacancies. We recruit for values.

Skills and experience matter, but in social care, who someone is matters too. We want people who will treat our residents with compassion and respect, who want to make a difference and whose values genuinely align with ours.

That's where you come in.

We're looking for two brilliant Recruitment Coordinators to join our People Team and help us find, engage and welcome the people who will become part of Hill Care.

North Region – North East through to Huddersfield

South Region – Chesterfield through to Merseyside

You'll be home based, but you'll also get out into our homes, build relationships with managers, understand their teams and become their go-to person for recruitment.

This isn't just about posting adverts. You'll take ownership of your vacancies and candidates from the moment a role becomes available right through to making the offer.

What you'll do

You'll manage recruitment across your region: attracting and pre-screening candidates, partnering with Home Managers, maintaining a positive candidate experience, supporting safer recruitment checks and helping managers recruit people who reflect our CARE values.

You'll help managers recruit people with the right attitudes, behaviours and values needed to provide great care.

Is this you?

You might have experience in recruitment, recruitment coordination, HR administration or onboarding. More importantly, you'll enjoy making things happen and helping candidates and managers have a great experience.

You'll need to be organised, confident and proactive. You'll be comfortable picking up the phone rather than waiting for applications to arrive, and you'll be able to build great relationships with candidates and managers alike.

To feel confident and happy in the role, you'll also need

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • The ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities

  • Confidence using recruitment systems, Microsoft Office and digital platforms

  • An understanding of safer recruitment, including DBS, Right to Work, references and pre-employment checks

  • Great attention to detail

  • The ability to work independently while being part of a wider People Team

  • A full UK driving licence and the willingness and ability to travel across your region

Experience of social care and SeeMeHired or a similar recruitment platform would be an advantage.

What you'll get

£15.00 per hour30 hours per weekHome-based working with regional travelA role where you'll have genuine ownership of your recruitment portfolio and the opportunity to influence how we attract and recruit people across Hill Care.

You'll report directly to our Head of People and work alongside another Recruitment Coordinator, sharing ideas, candidates and support across the group.

If you believe recruitment should be about people, relationships and values – not simply filling vacancies – we'd love to hear from you.

Come and help us find the people who will make a difference to ours

Because we work in social care, the successful applicant will be required to complete the appropriate DBS and pre-employment checks. You must already have the Right to Work in the UK. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

Hill Care is committed to equal opportunities and creating an inclusive working environment. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and will consider reasonable adjustments throughout our recruitment process and employment.

A note to recruitment agencies: we're looking forward to recruiting our new team members directly, so no agency assistance is required for these vacancies, and any unsolicited CVs will be treated as a gift.
