Guild Care are seeking Retail Assistants to support the day-to-day running of vibrant, fast-paced, busy charity shops in Worthing. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your retail skills. Location: All Worthing Stores, West Sussex

About this role
Guild Care is Worthing’s leading social care charity, and our wonderful charity shops play a vital role in supporting the services we provide to older people, those living with dementia, and children and adults with learning disabilities. With 17 shops across West Sussex, we’re at the heart of the community – offering a wide range of quality second-hand goods, all while raising funds for our essential services.
Do you have experience in a retail or customer service setting? And / or are you enthusiastic, creative, with outstanding communication and customer service skills and are willing to learn?

What you will need
Required criteria
- Ability to undertake reasonable lifting duties
- Post Holder must be literate and numerate
- Flexible attitude to work
- Demonstrate good customer service skills
- Ability to provide a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check
Desired criteria
- Experience Handling Cash
- Experience working in a charity/retail shop
- Experience working towards targets
- Basic IT skills
