About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and detail-focused Hot Tub Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Cheddar Woods.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys working in a practical, hands-on role. You will be responsible for the cleaning, maintenance and routine servicing of hot tubs across our accommodation, helping to ensure they are clean, safe and ready for our guests to enjoy.

This is a permanent, part-time position working 16 hours per week, with a flexible working pattern that will include weekends and bank holidays in line with business needs.

The role is ideal for someone who is practical, proactive and able to work independently while also being part of a wider team.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hot tubs to ensure they meet company cleanliness and safety standards

• Test and monitor hot tub water quality and maintain correct chemical levels

• Carry out routine hot tub checks and identify any issues or maintenance requirements

• Complete regular cleaning and servicing tasks between guest stays

• Ensure hot tub areas are clean, tidy and well-presented

• Report faults, damage or maintenance issues promptly

• Assist with basic hot tub maintenance and minor repairs where appropriate

• Handle, store and use chemicals safely in accordance with health & safety procedures

• Ensure all equipment is used correctly and maintained in good working order

• Respond to hot tub-related requests in a timely and professional manner

• Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure accommodation is ready for guests

• Maintain accurate records of water testing and maintenance checks

• Support the wider team with general tasks when required

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in hot tub maintenance, water treatment, facilities or a similar role is desirable

• Experience with hot tubs or chemical water treatment is advantageous, but full training can be provided

• A practical approach with good attention to detail

• An understanding of health & safety procedures, particularly when handling chemicals and equipment

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Comfortable carrying out physical tasks and manual handling

• A proactive and flexible approach to work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good organisational skills and reliability

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Commitment to maintaining consistently high standards
