TES are an award-winning environmental engineering company specialising in Water Treatment and Power Distribution solutions. Due to the continued growth and expansion, we are seeking skilled and reliable IMS – Electricians Mate to join our expanding production team at TES Power in Ballykelly.
This is an entry-level, hands-on role supporting the assembly and manufacture of power and switchgear systems, with full training provided.
Location: Ballykelly
Working Pattern: 4 Day Week
Contract Type: Full-time, 40 hours, Permanent
Hourly Rate: £16.50 per hour
About this role
Role Function
Assist Installation of Electrical Containment Systems within SKIDS & POD switch rooms.
Operate basic tools and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
Support mechanical fitters and Electricians in daily tasks.
Follow work instructions, drawings, and standard operating procedures.
Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail.
Carry out basic inspections and report any issues or defects.
Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
The Person:
Experience in the installation of Electrical Containment Systems within SKIDS & POD switch rooms and or wiring of Electrical switchgear
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Good work ethic and reliability
Ability to work as part of a team
Basic understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace
Desirable
Experience using hand tools or working in an engineering environment
Exposure to assembly, wiring, or mechanical tasks
Flexibility to work overtime when required
