We’re looking for a Dispatch Coordinator to join our team at Walsh Waste & Recycling.
About the role
You’ll coordinate bookings and schedules, keep customers informed and ensure service records are accurate and up to date.
You’ll need to be comfortable managing changing priorities, solving day-to-day problems and supporting colleagues.
What you’ll do
· Organise daily service schedules, bookings and customer requests.
· Work closely with drivers and operational teams, communicating job details and schedule changes.
· Respond to customer calls, emails and online orders in a helpful, professional manner.
· Monitor job progress, follow up on outstanding work and help resolve service queries.
· Maintain accurate customer accounts, service records and supporting paperwork.
· Support invoicing queries, reporting and general office administration.
· Contribute ideas to improve how we organise work and serve our customers.

· Clear communication and a friendly, professional approach to customers.
· Good attention to detail and confidence working with information and records.
· A practical approach to solving problems and knowing when to ask for support.
· Confidence using email and Microsoft Office, with a willingness to learn new systems.
· Reliability, initiative and a willingness to work as part of a team.
Experience in dispatch, scheduling, transport, customer service or office administration would be an advantage.
You do not need a background in waste management, we welcome applicants with relevant transferable skills from other industries.
