The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join our growing Commercial team and develop specialist skills within the rapidly expanding renewable energy sector. Working on projects across Ireland, you will play a key role in the delivery, commissioning and maintenance of commercial Solar PV installations
About this role
Responsibilities include:
· Installation of cable containment systems.
· Installation, termination and glanding of mains and control cables.
· Supervision and coordination of commercial rooftop and ground-mounted Solar PV installations.
· Carrying out site surveys and technical assessments for prospective commercial solar projects.
· Commissioning of commercial Solar PV systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
· Performing scheduled maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting on Solar PV systems.
· Managing subcontractors and site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
· Engaging with customers on-site, providing technical guidance and updates throughout project delivery.
· Completing installation, commissioning and maintenance documentation accurately and efficiently.
· Maintaining strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations, company policies and industry best practice.
Qualifications/Key Skills
· Qualified Electrician with a recognised electrical trade qualification and/or relevant industry experience.
· Commercial or industrial electrical project experience is essential. Experience within Solar PV, renewable energy, utilities or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
· Strong technical knowledge and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Experience working in a fast-paced environment with responsibility for delivering projects safely and on schedule.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, subcontractors and colleagues.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
· Full clean driving licence.
