Are you an experienced Deputy Manager with a strong clinical background and a passion for delivering exceptional care? Chestnut Manor Care Home is looking for a confident and compassionate Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced deputy who is ready to play a key leadership role within the home, working alongside the Home Manager to ensure residents receive the highest standards of care, support and dignity.

40 hours per week | Full-time | Permanent
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will:
Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
Lead, supervise and inspire the nursing and care teams
Provide strong clinical leadership and guidance
Oversee care planning and clinical standards
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and policies
Support staff recruitment, training and development
Complete and oversee clinical audits, including medication and care plans
Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals
Act as a role model for high-quality care and effective leadership
Support the Home Manager and take responsibility for the home in their absence

What you will need
Required criteria
- Qualification as a Registered General Nurse with a current and valid NMC pin number
- A minimum of 3 years management experience within a care home setting
- Strong clinical skills with an understanding of CQC requirements, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, HSE (Health & Safety Executive) requirements and other relevant legislation
- Excellent communication with a positive, flexible and innovative attitude
- Well organised with the ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated to make a difference
