About the Role:
We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team at Aberconwy, one of Darwin Escapes’ beautiful holiday destinations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and a seamless experience throughout their stay. This is a varied role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who is organised, approachable, and able to multitask effectively.
This is a permanent, part-time position working variable days and hours, including weekends and bank holidays, in line with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Welcome guests on arrival and provide a friendly and professional check-in experience
Handle guest enquiries, both in person, over the phone, and via email
Manage bookings, payments, and reservations using internal systems
Provide information about the park, local area, and available facilities
Handle guest feedback and resolve queries or issues promptly and professionally
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure accommodation readiness
Process check-outs efficiently and accurately
Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable reception area
Support administrative tasks and daily reception operations
Follow all company procedures, including data protection and health & safety
Work as part of the wider resort team to ensure guests receive an excellent experience
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
A friendly, positive, and professional manner
Good IT skills and confidence using computer and booking systems
Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
A flexible approach to work
A commitment to delivering an excellent guest experience
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team

This is a permanent, part-time position with working hours arranged in line with business and resort needs.
The role requires flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays, as well as variable shifts.
The position involves working in a busy front-of-house environment, requiring prolonged periods of standing, use of computer systems, and regular interaction with guests throughout the day.
