Shaws Portlaoise are now looking to recruit a part-time warehouse/storeroom operative.
This role will require the successful candidate to work approx. 20 hours per week Monday to Saturday.

About this role
Key Responsibilities:
· Accept, check, and sign for incoming goods and deliveries.
· Verify quantities and quality against delivery notes and purchase orders.
· Unpack, label, and store products efficiently in designated areas.
· Process stock, and handle as part of back of house pre- retailing team
· Report and record any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
· Keep the goods-in and stockroom areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
· Ensure stock is stored securely to prevent damage or loss.
· Dispose of packaging materials responsibly and in line with recycling procedures.
· Prepare and maintain necessary paperwork for stock movements
· Assist with booking in return to Supplier or branch transfers.
· Liaise with couriers, and internal departments regarding deliveries and stock issues.
· Assist with stock preparation for promotions, sales, or seasonal changes.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Reliable, punctual, and well-organized
· Basic IT or inventory system knowledge
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Clear communication and problem-solving skills
This position is 20 hours per week over a 6 day roster - Monday to Saturday.
Midweek availability is essential and therefore will not be suitable to students.
