About the role:
We are looking for a Logistics Operative (Forklift & Crane Operator) to support the Logistics Team Leader and production teams with the safe and efficient movement of materials and buildings, including waste management, in line with the factory programme.
About this role
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklift and crane equipment safely and complete pre-use checks.
Move, load, unload and position materials/buildings to support daily production.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and RAMS.
Carry out material quality/state checks and report defects.
Support Just in Time (JIT) material supply and stock control.
Maintain housekeeping standards and storage efficiency.
Stock counting
Communicate effectively with DC, Stores and production teams.
Essential Requirements:
Experience in warehouse, factory, or material handling environments.
Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Valid forklift licence (counterbalance/reach).
Desirable Requirements:
Crane operation experience.
MEWP / IPAF certification.
Experience in a construction or manufacturing environment.
