Casual Warehouse Operative/ Helper - McCabes
Purpose
The key purpose of the role of Warehouse Operative is to assemble customer orders, ensuring they are accurate and correct.
Responsibilities
To assemble orders accurately and in a timely manner
To maintain a minimum assembly rate of 95 cases per hour
To shrink wrap each pallet as its being assembled
To label / identify each pallet correctly
To clean up any breakages / damages and fill in breakages book
To ensure that all work complies with health and safety procedures
Any other duties relevant and related to the post
You may also be required to act as a Helper on lorries where you would assist the delivery driver to deliver goods to customers of McCabes in an efficient and courteous manner, checking all goods onto the premises and ensuring the completion of all paperwork.
Qualifications
Desirable
Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, demonstrating good literacy and numeric skills
Skills and ExperienceEssential
Must be able to work in a quick and efficient manner
Desirable
Fork Lift License
HGV License
6 months experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Hours of work - None Guaranteed per week.
Please note: While this is a casual, zero guaranteed hours position, there may be the opportunity to apply for/ be considered for a permanent full-time position after six months' service, subject to business needs, performance and the availability of suitable vacancies. This is not guaranteed.
