Team Leader
We are looking to recruit an experienced Team Leader to support one of our Bromborough Services. This service provides intensive support to 8 individuals within a residential setting providing care on a one-to-one basis to enhance general life skills.
The postholder will assist the Operational Service Manager to provide sound leadership and day to day running of the staff team to deliver a person centric service and deliver innovative strategies to meet the needs of our People. The role involves first Line Leadership to our care heroes to achieve lifelong careers with the Charity.

What you will be doing…
To ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to the people.
To lead a team of support workers to establish and maintain a high standard of care practice within the Residential Services.
Ensure an effective, responsive, caring and safe service for the individuals we support.
Actively promote an autism-specific culture through effective work practices and identify any additional support needs.
To ensure accurate records and reporting systems.

What you will need
Required criteria
- Must hold a UK Manual driving licence and have access to a car.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience supporting people with autism and/or learning difficulties.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of person-centred approaches.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to pass a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
Desired criteria
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Team Leader in the health care sector.
