Role Overview:
Dennison Commercials Ltd is the sole Volvo Truck & Bus dealer and the leading provider of heavy commercial vehicles in Northern Ireland.
We are currently seeking a Full Time (field based) Parts Sales Representative to join our Denn-Part business which provides alternative parts for all makes, truck, trailer components, accessories and used parts.
This is a key role within the aftersales side of our business, focusing primarily on promoting our Denn-Part offering, to both existing and new customers, in addition to supporting sales opportunities for Genuine Volvo Parts.
Location:
The role will be tailored to a defined geographical area covering the North West region of the province and will liaise closely with our award winning Coleraine Depot.

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Parts Sales Representative to support business growth across the Coleraine and Northwest region.
Role Purpose
The Parts Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with existing and prospective customers, driving sales growth across the DennPart product range. Working closely with our Coleraine operation, the successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market share, strengthening customer loyalty, and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement customer account plans to maximize sales and retention.
Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Conduct regular customer visits and promote the full range of DennPart products and services.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve agreed sales and profitability targets.
Build long-term customer relationships through exceptional service and proactive support.
Record all customer activity and opportunities within the company's CRM system.
Manage, impress stock agreements, and undertake regular reviews with customers.
Gather and report competitor activity, market intelligence, and pricing information.
Work closely with depot teams to ensure outstanding customer service and parts availability.
Support promotions, trade events, and customer engagement activities.
Assist with deliveries and collections when required.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven sales or account management experience.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
Full UK driving license.
Desirable Experience
Experience within the commercial vehicle, transport, automotive, truck, trailer or parts sector.
Knowledge of commercial vehicle components and aftermarket parts.
Experience using CRM systems.

What you will need
Required criteria
- Previous relevant sales experience is essential, preferably in relation to vehicle parts sales
- Possess strong commercial and business acumen
- Ability to prospect sales professionally and competently and negotiate effectively
- The ability to build and maintain strong, positive working relationships to drive customer loyalty and confidence
- Be an excellent communicator who listens actively and thinks strategically
- Possess a proactive, flexible and methodical approach to work
- Possess the drive to identify or anticipate future opportunities
- Be self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure using their own initiative
- Be able to manage their time effectively
- Possess demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Possess a full, valid driving licence
Desired criteria
- Previous knowledge and experience of the heavy vehicle industry is highly desirable
- Previous experience and use of CM systems would be desirable
