Bar Supervisor - An Chúirt Hotel, Gweedore, Co. Donegal

The Role

As Bar Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our bar, supporting the Bar Manager and ensuring consistently high standards of service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and supporting the bar team during service

• Ensuring excellent customer service and a warm, professional atmosphere

• Assisting with staff training, rotas and day-to-day team management

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene

• Managing stock levels, deliveries and bar replenishment

• Ensuring responsible service of alcohol and compliance with hotel procedures

• Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally

• Supporting the Bar Manager with the smooth running of the department

• Helping to maintain and improve service standards

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous bar or hospitality supervisory experience

• Has excellent customer service and communication skills

• Is confident leading and motivating a team

• Works well under pressure in a busy environment

• Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Is reliable, professional and positive in their approach

• Has a good knowledge of bar service and beverage operations

• Is flexible to work evenings, weekends and busy periods
