About this role
What You’ll Do
As a Relief Laundry Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the comfort and dignity of our residents by ensuring all clothing and linen are laundered to the highest standards.
In this role, you will:
Sort, wash, dry, press, and fold clothing and other textiles
Remove stains using appropriate methods and products
Follow daily and weekly laundry schedules
Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and inform the team of stock levels
Keep the laundry area clean, safe, and well-organised
Complete necessary documentation and report any damage or concerns
Ensure each resident receives a professional and respectful laundry service
