Residential Children's Worker - Days with sleep ins / or Waking Nights
We have a number of permanent roles covering the following shifts:
2 roles - Days - Residential Children's Worker Role, Full Time, working a 2:4 shift system with Sleep-ins
1 role - Waking Nights - Residential Children's Worker Role, Full Time, working a 5:2 rolling 2 weeks shift system
Days - Contract 40hrs plus overtime if required
Nights - Contract 35-37.5hr plus overtime if required.

Your Role
Build positive, respectful relationships with children and young people.
Support care plans, development goals, and emotional well-being.
Promote safeguarding, routines, and behavioural boundaries.
Engage young people in education, recreation, and daily life skills.
Act as a key worker and lead shifts where appropriate.
Maintain records and liaise with families and external professionals.
Salary Subject to Experience/Qualifications - overtime available

Ability to complete sleep ins when on day shifts.

Competent in Microsoft Office (or willing to learn).
Positive role model with integrity and professionalism.
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and sleep-ins.
Full UK driving licence.
Commitment to ongoing development.
Desirable:
Experience working with children or vulnerable people.
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Knowledge of child development, trauma, and safeguarding.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks.

- Commitment to complete a Level 3 in Residential Childcare
- Ability to commit to shift system which covers all days of the week
- Ability to commit to sleep-in when working days
Desired criteria
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare, or equivalent qualification
- Professional Experience working in Children settings ageed 8+
