About this role
We are currently recruiting Social Care Workers on behalf of our client in Naas, Kildare This is an opportunity to join a dynamic new team delivering high-quality, person-centred care to vulnerable young people and young adults transitioning to residential care.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with the Centre Manager and Social Care Leaders to deliver exceptional, high-quality care.
• Maintain a secure, nurturing, and stable residential setting that promotes the well-being and development of vulnerable young people.
• Drive the delivery of tailored, engaging day-to-day activities that support individual care plans and personal growth.
• Act as the main point of support, advice, and contact for young adults.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must hold one of the following:
• BA in Social Care (L7/L8)
• BA in Applied Social Care Studies in Social Care (L7/L8)
• BA in Social Care Work (L7/L8)
• BA in Social Care Practice (L7/L8)
• BSc in Health & Social Care (L8) – Atlantic Technological University
Or be eligible to register with CORU as a Social Care Worker.
Key Attributes & Competencies
• High emotional maturity, empathy, and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Exceptional flexibility, a positive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills.
• A valid, full, clean Irish/EU driving licence is required (driving test awaiting also considered)
