This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team as a Stores and Logistics Coordinator within our site in Burnley. This is a varied and hands-on role involving a wide range of stores, purchasing and logistics activities. The successful candidate will be comfortable undertaking both manual and computer-based tasks, from receiving and issuing materials to expediting supplier deliveries and coordinating transport. The role requires a positive and enthusiastic attitude, excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to use computer systems and software effectively.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 5 GCSE’s grade A* - C, including mathematics and English
Minimum one year’s experience in a relevant business role
Experience using an ERP system or similar business software
Good MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
Good organisational and time-management skills
Good communication skills
Previous logistics/customs clearance experience would be advantageous
On the job training will be provided should be successful with your application. A positive and self-motivated attitude toward work is essential. You must be legally entitled to work in the UK.

About this role
Responsibilities :
The Stores and Logistics Coordinator role within Crossland Tankers will include the following responsibilities;
Receive, inspect and store incoming goods in a timely manner.
Pick and issue parts to production , ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded within the ERP system.
Manually handle packages and components safely.
Ensure all inventory movements, receipts, issues, transfers and adjustments are fully tracked and updated within the ERP system to ensure stock accuracy and housekeeping standard.
Monitor supplier delivery performance, provide regular order book updates and proactively expedite overdue deliveries.
Liaise with suppliers, production, purchasing and logistics providers to resolve shortages, delivery issues and schedule changes.
Plan and coordinate shipments between company sites, suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring all deliveries are scheduled and monitored to completion.
Create and manage ferry bookings for the company’s trailers and tankers, maintaining accurate records of all bookings and associated documentation.
Use the Trader Support Service to create ENS/SFD declaration and close out supplementary declarations, preparing/obtaining required documentation
Support purchasing and inventory control activities by maintain a high level of inventory accuracy through disciplined stock control, cycle counts and transaction processing.
Ensure all work is completed on time and effectively whilst adhering to scheduled times to maintain efficiency.
Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards.
Other reasonable responsibilities as required by management.
Any other duties including but not limited to Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental matters as required.
