Leisure Centre Supervisor

The Role

As Leisure Centre Supervisor, you will play a key role in the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of our leisure facilities. Working closely with the Leisure Centre Manager and wider hotel team, you will help ensure that our members and guests receive a warm, friendly and professional service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operation of the Leisure Centre and ensure the highest standards of customer service.

• Welcome members and hotel guests and create a friendly, positive environment.

• Ensure all health, safety and pool procedures are followed consistently.

• Support the supervision and coordination of the leisure team.

• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene throughout the facilities.

• Assist with poolside supervision and the safe operation of the swimming pool and leisure facilities.

• Respond professionally and efficiently to member and guest queries.

• Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily operational checks.

• Support membership administration and promote leisure centre services and facilities.

• Report maintenance, safety or operational issues promptly.

• Assist the Leisure Centre Manager with staff training, rotas and day-to-day administration where required.

What We’re Looking For

• Has previous experience in a leisure, fitness, hospitality or customer-service environment.

• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Can lead by example and motivate colleagues.

• Is organised, reliable and capable of working independently.

• Has a strong understanding of health and safety.

• Is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

• Can remain calm and professional in a busy environment.

• Is flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

A current lifeguarding qualification and relevant pool supervision experience would be highly advantageous.
