In this vital role, you will be supporting individuals with complex needs within their home environment, helping them with daily activities, appointments, and personal care. Your primary goal will be to promote their wellbeing and independence, empowering them to live fulfilling lives.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex autism and learning disabilities.
Following Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies and individual support plans.
Supporting with daily living skills, personal development, social integration, and managing personal finances.
Administering medication safely and maintaining accurate records.
Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.

About this role
As a Complex Care Support Worker, your day-to-day will be dynamic and deeply rewarding. You'll be a cornerstone of support for individuals, assisting with everything from daily routines and personal care to community outings, appointments, and leisure activities. Requirements:
Driver with a UK Manual licence and access to a car
Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting people with autism and learning difficulties
Excellent communication skills and strong understanding of person-centred approaches.
Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
Desirable Level 2 or 3 in Health and social care.

· Sleep ins: Some of our locations require staff to undertake sleep-in duties. These are payable at £60 per night.
· Overtime pay: Overtime is available at an additional £1.20 per hour weekdays or £2.00 per hour weekends on top of your hourly rate of pay.
Hours of work: We have a range of vacancies available -
32 hours & 40 minutes per week
25 hours & 40 minutes per week
What you will need
Required criteria
- Must hold a UK Manual driving licence and have access to a car.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience supporting people with autism and/or learning difficulties.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of person-centred approaches.

- Must be able to pass a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
