We are seeking an experienced Bartender who will work well as part of our The Rose Hotel team.
This role is mainly to work the evening shift - both during the week and on weekends, serving our guests to the high standards expected. The successful candidate will be mainly serving drinks only.

Passionate about Customer Service
Ability to work within a team.
Excellent organisation and communication skills.
Good level of English required.
Must have the legal right to work in Ireland.
Must be available to work flexible hours
Flexibility within the 2 bar outlets in the hotel is required - both in the same facility
About this role
Responsibilities:
Serving our guests to the high standards expected making sure their needs and expectations are met
To communicate and cooperate with the team to assist in the smooth running of service
Mix & serve beverages including alcoholic beverages and cocktails.
Handle customer payment transactions
Clean glasses and bar utensils as well as maintaining stock areas
Must be able to prioritise and manage the time accordingly to the workload
To be knowledgeable about the local area and facilities within the Hotel

What you will need
Required criteria
- Experience in cash handling and maximizing revenue through upselling.
- Ability to ensure guest bills are correct and inclusive of all items.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.
- High standard of personal hygiene and professional conduct.
- Willingness to accept a flexible work schedule.
- Must have at least 1 years experience as a bar person
Desired criteria
- Must have worked in a fast paced environment
- Know of cocktails is desirable
