Role: Night Shift Supervisor – Belgard Quarry
Reporting to: Location Manager, Belgard Quarry
Roadstone Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Night Shift Supervisor in Roadstone Belgard.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Awareness & implementation of all elements of Health & Safety & ensuring our location strictly operates to our high Health & Safety standards.
Primarily working a night shift.
Ensuring safe, efficient and continuous production throughout the night shift.
Proactive monitoring of plant performance and carrying out plant checklists.
Liaise with management on an ongoing basis on plant requirements.
Operating and monitoring the crushing plant.
Willingness to work with local management to identify, plan and implement maintenance requirements in a safe and effective manner.
Operating mobile equipment and mobile plant as required to support quarry and crushing plant operations.
About this role
The following knowledge, skills and competencies are required for this role:
Ability to be a Team player with an ability to work on own initiative.
· Proven track record in taking responsibility, operating plant and/or quarry vehicles.
Excellent communication skills.
Be self-driven with desire to show flexibility as required in operating different company machinery.
Experience in company construction materials and it would be requirements in their production.
