We are seeking a professional, organised, and friendly Receptionist & Administrator to join our team. As the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and suppliers, you will play a key role in creating a positive impression of the business while providing administrative support across the organisation.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and be capable of managing a variety of administrative tasks in a busy office environment.
This is a full-time position, working five days per week, Monday to Thursday, from 9:00am to 5:30pm & Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
About this role
Key Responsibilities
Reception Duties
· Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls to the relevant people.
· Welcome all visitors & customers in a professional & courteous manner, ensuring all visitors comply with company safety procedures.
· Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
· Book & manage travel arrangements for colleagues when required.
Administrative Duties
· Provide general administrative support to management and office staff.
· Manage deliveries & collections of hire vehicles on behalf of a TBC client. This includes corresponding by email or telephone, also updating vehicle information on all required systems.
· Maintain accurate records, filing systems & company documents.
· Assist with data entry and updating internal databases
· Order and maintain office supplies and stationery.
· Booking customer’s vehicles in for yearly check
General Responsibilities
· Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information.
· Support continuous improvement of office processes and administration.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues across all departments.
· Undertake other duties appropriate to the role as required.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable
Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, or office environment.
Familiarity with document management systems and office procedures.

Well-organised with a proactive attitude.
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
