Role Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Housekeepers to join our friendly team at Sandymouth Holiday Park, part of Darwin Escapes.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time, flexible work who takes pride in their work, enjoys maintaining high standards of cleanliness and likes being part of a busy team.
As a Housekeeper, you’ll play an important role in preparing our holiday accommodation, ensuring every guest arrives to a clean, fresh and welcoming space.
This is a fixed-term, part-time position, working between 6 and 18 hours per week, with hours varying depending on the needs of the park and accommodation changeovers.
Pay is structured on a PPU (Paid Per Unit) basis. Housekeepers typically earn a minimum of £100 per day when working around 6 hours, depending on the number and type of units completed.

Housekeeper – Roles & Responsibilities
Accommodation Cleaning
Clean and prepare lodges, caravans and other accommodation units to company standards for guest arrivals.
Change bed linen and make beds neatly.
Thoroughly clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas.
Vacuum, dust, mop floors and clean all surfaces.
Ensure each accommodation unit is presented to a high standard before guest check-in.
Guest Experience
Help ensure every accommodation unit is clean, comfortable and welcoming for guests.
Report any maintenance issues, damage or missing items promptly to management.
Maintain cleanliness in communal areas when required.
Take pride in creating a positive first impression for every guest arriving at the park.
Team Support
Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team, particularly during busy changeover days.
Support supervisors in preparing accommodation efficiently within allocated timeframes.
Follow cleaning checklists, procedures and company standards consistently.
Help maintain a positive and supportive team environment.
Health & Safety
Use cleaning products, materials and equipment safely and correctly.
Store cleaning materials safely and appropriately.
Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
Report any hazards or concerns to the appropriate member of the team.
