Bench Joiner
Day Shift: Mon-Thurs 7am-4pm, Fri 6am-2pm
Hourly Rate: dependent on experience
Structured pay scale in place with the opportunity to progress within the Company.
About this role
Key responsibilities will include:
· Interpret technical drawings, cutting lists, and specifications to produce joinery items.
· Assemble kitchen and bathroom wood products using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
· Construct and finish bespoke furniture, cabinetry, doors, and other wooden fittings.
· Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
· Maintain a clean and organised workbench and workshop area.
· Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
· Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
What you will need
Required criteria
- Similar experience building / constructing units
- Have practical skills for using hand and machine tools
- Ability to perform tasks within health and safety guidelines
- Excellent Time and Attendance Record
- Ability to work in a fast environment
- Attention to detail
- Experience of working in a team with ability to use own initiative and work independently
