You'll join the Senior Leadership Team as the definitive voice on marketing, trusted to influence at Board level, own significant budgets, and act as the senior marketing partner to over 140 franchise owners. This is a role for an experienced leader who knows what great looks like and is excited by the challenge of making something already successful even better.
You’ll combine strategic vision with commercial focus and hands-on leadership, translating ideas into action, inspiriting a high-performing specialist team, and delivering measurable growth.

What you’ll be doing
Marketing Leadership & Strategy
Own the marketing vision and strategy, building on existing foundations to drive the next phase of growth.
Act as the senior marketing authority within the leadership team, shaping decisions at the highest level.
Sharpen and evolve integrated marketing plans across key business priorities.
Lead annual planning, quarterly reviews, and continuous optimisation.
Drive innovation across marketing channels, tools, and approaches to stay ahead of a competitive market.
Budget & Performance Management
Hold full P&L accountability across three key budgets (National Marketing Fund, Central Marketing, Franchise Recruitment).
Set budgets with finance and leadership, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Track spend, measure ROI, and optimise performance to maximise impact.
Franchise Network Engagement
Act as the primary marketing contact and trusted advisor to 140+ franchise owners.
Deliver training, presentations, and communications to ensure alignment and adoption of best practice across the network.
Brand & Marketing Delivery
Own brand strategy, ensuring consistent positioning, messaging, and compliance.
Oversee end-to-end delivery across all marketing channels, raising the bar on quality and consistency.
Manage agencies and suppliers to deliver high-quality outputs.
Lead a talented marketing team to execute all elements of the marketing function.
Define and track KPIs across lead generation, conversion, brand awareness, and franchise recruitment.
Use data and analytics to continuously improve performance and ROI, looking for the next incremental gain.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team of four direct reports, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and accountability.
Represent Caremark at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities championing thought leadership and brand visibility.
What we’re looking for
Significant senior marketing leadership experience. This is a senior appointment, and we're looking for someone who has already operated credibly at Board or senior leadership level.
A proven track record of taking a strong-performing marketing function and making it stronger, not just building strategy from the ground up, but sharpening what already works.
Demonstrated success developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies with clear, measurable business impact.
Experience leading and developing high-performing marketing teams, with a genuine passion for coaching talent to the next level.
Sharp commercial acumen, with a rigorous approach to ROI and performance measurement.
Exceptional strategic thinking, balanced with the drive to get hands-on and deliver.
Outstanding stakeholder management skills, comfortable influencing senior executives, shareholders, and franchise owners alike.
Compelling written and verbal communication skills with the ability to bring people with you.
Desirable Attributes
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Experience working in franchise business models with understanding of franchisee/franchisor dynamics.
Knowledge of the home care, healthcare, or senior living sectors.
