About this role
Key Areas of Responsibility:
· Schedule deliveries to fully optimise the fleet of trucks
· Dealing with incoming calls in a timely manner
· Consistently delivering excellent customer service and meeting or exceeding KPI’s and targets
· Foster and develop good relations with both existing and potential customers to ensure retention and growth
· Maintain and enhance working relationships with key stakeholders within the business
· Maintain / Implement good working practices and procedures to ensure that the department is run efficiently and with professionalism
· Pro-actively look for continuous improvement within the department
· Creating a positive company impression by being friendly, professional, and helpful on every contact
· Confidently addressing any objections or issues, escalating complex cases to a supervisor as needed
· Open to learning other aspects of the business
· Reporting of Complaints and Safety issues to the Location Manager
· Admin tasks as required

What you will need
Required criteria
- • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
- • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
- • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- • Experience with process improvement initiatives is a plus
