Warehouse Operative - Philip Russell Ltd

Purpose

The key purpose of the role of Warehouse Operative is to assemble customer orders, ensuring they are accurate and correct.

Responsibilities

• To assemble orders accurately and in a timely manner

• To maintain a minimum assembly rate of 95 cases per hour

• To shrink wrap each pallet as its being assembled

• To label / identify each pallet correctly

• To clean up any breakages / damages and fill in breakages book

• To ensure that all work complies with health and safety procedures

• Any other duties relevant and related to the post

You may also be required to act as a Helper on lorries where you would assist the delivery driver to deliver goods to customers in an efficient and courteous manner, checking all goods onto the premises and ensuring the completion of all paperwork.

Qualifications

Desirable

• Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, demonstrating good literacy and numeric skills 

Skills and ExperienceEssential

• 6 months experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

• Must be able to work in a quick and efficient manner

Desirable            

• Fork Lift License

• HGV License

Hours of work - 40 hours per week.
