About this role
Silver Stream Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to lead and support our nursing team while maintaining the highest standards of person-centred care. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining clinical expertise with staff supervision, mentoring, and day-to-day operational management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, support, and develop the nursing and healthcare assistant team
Deliver and oversee high-quality, person-centred clinical care
Ensure care plans, assessments, and clinical documentation are accurate and up to date
Promote compliance with HIQA standards, policies, and best practice
Coordinate care with residents, families, GPs, and the multidisciplinary team
Support staff development, performance management, and quality improvement initiatives
About You
Active NMBI registration
Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience in a nursing home
Previous leadership or senior nursing experience
Strong clinical, organisational, and communication skills
Knowledge of HIQA standards and proficiency in IT systems

What you will need
Required criteria
- The CNM must be registered in the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by An Bord Altranais.
- Have at least three years recent relevant post-registration nursing experience in a nursing home environment and preferably a minimum of three years nursing experience in senior nursing / team leader role.
- Proven clinical and professional management ability, clinical audit, and excellent leadership and communication skills.
Desired criteria
- A recognised post-registration nursing course in gerontology would be a distinct advantage.
