Located just a short 10-minute walk from Antrim town centre, Rosemary Lodge Care Home offers a friendly, supportive environment for up to 42 residents. We provide care across a range of categories including Residential Care, Dementia, Learning Disability (Over 65), Physical Disability (Over 65), and Mental Health (excluding Learning Disability or Dementia) Over 65.

The Role
The role of the Domestic Assistant is essential in our mission to provide excellent care. Supporting the Housekeeper with the environment of the Home, the Domestic Assistant will contribute to the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. The Domestic Assistant will ensure that the Home is clean, tidy and welcoming at all times.
The Domestic Assistant role at Healthcare Ireland Group works closely with the care teams and residents, building trusting relationships to create a comfortable environment where our residents feel safe and cared for. From ensuring that rooms are clean to tidying communal areas, every task contributes to the value that we add to the lives of our residents.
About this role
Main Responsibilities
Ensure the expected cleanliness and hygiene standards are achieved throughout the home
Cover domestic duties as assigned
Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management
Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule
Use and store cleaning products in accordance to COSHH regulations
Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.

Required criteria
- A good standard of both verbal and written English
- Relevant experience for the role
- The Right to Work in the UK
Desired criteria
- Previous care home experience
- Basic knowledge of COSHH, Health and Safety and Fire Regulations
