Homecare Gurus is seeking Live-In Care Assistants, who are car owners, to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential, holistic support to clients within their own homes, ensuring their health, safety, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Personal Care: Empower clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and toileting, always respecting their dignity and preferences.

• Meal Preparation: Craft nutritious and appealing meals, including traditional English favourites like Sunday roasts and shepherd’s pie, meticulously tailored to individual client preferences and dietary requirements.

• Household Maintenance: Manage light household duties, including cleaning and laundry, to foster a clean, organised, and safe living environment.

• Companionship & Engagement: Cultivate strong, trusting relationships with clients, creating a warm, supportive, and engaging atmosphere. Inspire and facilitate participation in enriching hobbies and activities, such as walking or gardening, to enhance physical and emotional well-being.

• Transportation: Provide safe and reliable transportation for clients to appointments, errands, and social outings, utilising your personal vehicle.

• Medication Administration: Accurately administer medication in strict accordance with individual care plans, ensuring correct dosages and timely delivery.

• Mobility Assistance: Safely assist with client mobility, utilising aids like stairlifts and applying manual handling techniques to support movement and repositioning.
