Recently refurbished and beautifully upgraded, The Plaza Hotel Tallaght has been completely transformed. The interior of this 4-star hotel now features exciting new eateries alongside 122 spacious and comfortable ensuite bedrooms, including a selection of large suites. Two bright and versatile event spaces, along with four meeting suites, provide the perfect setting for conferences and events of all sizes, from 5 to 200 guests.

About this role
At the Plaza Hotel, our team takes pride in delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining high hospitality standards at all times.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Supporting the senior kitchen team with food preparation and basic cooking duties.
Assisting with ingredient preparation and mise en place for different kitchen sections.
Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in all food preparation and storage areas.
Following HACCP procedures and all food safety guidelines at all times.
Working efficiently as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and consistently high-quality food.
Helping with stock rotation and proper storage of food items.
Assisting with daily kitchen tasks as directed by senior chefs.
Requirements
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the kitchen team.
Previous kitchen experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
A genuine interest in food preparation, culinary skills, and a career in hospitality.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
A strong understanding of cleanliness and personal hygiene standards.
