Main Purpose of Job
You will focus on providing high quality vehicle preparation, whilst ensuring that the work is carried out professionally and to the customer’s satisfaction.
Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations whilst carrying out work in a timely manner and contributing to departmental targets using a “right first time” approach.
About this role
Role Responsibilities
Ensure vehicles are washed as per the Cleaning rota in preparation for the next day
Ensure vehicles are washed perfectly to customer satisfaction using the correct materials provided
Assist with the efficient flow of vehicles around the site, for collection and delivery
Maintenance of cleaning equipment and other materials
Maintain work areas in a clean and tidy condition
Complete vehicle forecourt checks to ensure all stock is cleaned to required standards
Assist with site maintenance duties as required
Be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
Note any accidents or damage on vehicles and to bring to the attention of the relevant manager
Skills and Competencies:
Be self -motivated, possessing drive and ambition to achieve quality results
Be pro-active and enthusiastic towards your work
Ability to communicate effectively with manager and other work colleagues
Ability to pay attention to detail through a logical work approach
Work independently in a busy, active environment with little supervision and direction
Ability to deal with physical work
Full driving licence is mandatory for the role
Ability to use the most appropriate tools and machinery applicable to the job
