We are looking for a compassionate and caring Receptionist to join our family.
As our front-of-house Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors, residents, and team members. You will provide a warm Westgate welcome and be the friendly face that makes everyone feel at home from the moment they arrive.

About this role
This is a bank position, providing flexible reception cover during periods of annual leave, sickness and other staff absences, helping to ensure the reception service remains fully supported
Shifts from 9.30am - 4pm, mainly supporting with cover on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
Provide a warm and professional welcome to residents, families and visitors
Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately
Handle inquiries and provide accurate information about the care home’s services
Schedule and coordinate appointments, tours and meetings
Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming reception area
Assist with administrative tasks such as mail sorting and data entry
Liaise with staff across all departments to ensure smooth daily operations of the home
Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or unusual situations

What you will need
Required criteria
- Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role, ideally in a luxury care home setting
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Empathy and understanding when engaging with elderly residents and their families
