About the Role

We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistants to join our team at Woodside Bay Lodge Retreat, one of Darwin Escapes' stunning holiday destinations on the Isle of Wight.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. You will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our guests by providing food and beverage service in a professional, welcoming and efficient manner.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is a strong team player, enjoys working with people and is looking to gain experience within a supportive and growing business.

This is a fixed-term contract working 16 hours per week, with flexibility required to work across weekdays, weekends and bank holidays in line with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient and professional food and beverage service.

• Prepare and serve food and drinks in line with company standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all service areas.

• Set up and close down service areas in accordance with standard operating procedures.

• Operate tills and process payments accurately.

• Ensure stock is maintained, rotated and replenished.

• Support with guest enquiries and bookings where required.

• Respond to guest feedback and queries in a positive and professional manner.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality role is desirable but not essential.

• A positive, friendly and approachable attitude.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.

• A reliable and flexible approach to work.

• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
