We are looking for an organised, proactive and compassionate Care Coordinator to join our small, growing domiciliary care team. You will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding care by coordinating our care team, managing daily operations and supporting the wider office function.
This is a varied role requiring excellent organisation, communication skills and the ability to work calmly and efficiently.
About this role
Key Responsibilities
Care Coordination & Rota Management
Managing and maintaining the weekly care rota to ensure all customer visits are covered safely and effectively
Coordinating carers’ availability, holidays, sickness and rota changes
Responding quickly to emergencies and last-minute changes
Ensuring continuity of care and matching carers appropriately with customers
Monitoring visit schedules and supporting good outcomes for customers
Office Administration & Communication
Managing incoming calls, emails and enquiries in a professional and timely manner
Communicating effectively with customers, carers, families and healthcare professionals
Maintaining accurate records and updating care management systems
Providing general administrative support to the care team
Compliance & Quality Support
Supporting the Registered Manager with compliance tasks and audits
Maintaining accurate staff and customer records
Supporting monitoring of care documentation, training records and policies
Assisting with preparation for internal audits and CQC inspections
Ensuring documentation is completed to a high standard
Recruitment Administration
Supporting the recruitment process from application through to onboarding
Arranging interviews and preparing recruitment paperwork
Completing pre-employment checks, references and compliance documentation
Maintaining accurate staff files
Supporting new starter inductions and onboarding processes

Desired criteria
- Experience within the domiciliary care sector.
- Previous experience in a care coordination or similar administrative role within a care setting.
