The Diamond Coast is looking for a Night Manager to join the Team!
Job Purpose:
To oversee the hotel’s operations during nighttime hours, ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of all guests and staff. The Night Manager is responsible for managing night audits, guest relations, and any operational issues that arise during the night shift.

About this role
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
Take full responsibility for the hotel in the absence of senior management.
Oversee the front office, security, and any night staff on duty.
Manage late check-ins, early check-outs, and resolve guest issues effectively.
Ensure public areas are clean and guest-ready, liaising with housekeeping if needed.
Prepare reports and handover notes for day management team.
Guest Service
Deliver excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the night.
Handle guest complaints, feedback, or emergency situations calmly and professionally.
Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and public areas.
Night Audit / Financial Controls
Complete daily audit procedures and reconcile financial transactions.
Ensure accurate cash handling, end-of-day banking, and revenue reporting.
Balance and close the day’s business in the Property Management System (PMS).
Health, Safety & Security
Conduct regular safety and security checks of the property.
Respond to fire alarms, first aid calls, and emergencies per hotel procedures.
Ensure guest and staff safety in compliance with Irish health and safety regulations.
Leadership & Team Support
Supervise and support the night porter(s), cleaners, and other overnight staff.
Delegate tasks and monitor staff performance during the shift.
Support the training and onboarding of new night team members
