We are currently recruiting dedicated Care Assistants / Healthcare Assistants to support both children and adults with complex needs.
Available Role: Derby – Days and Nights / Bank Shift
Client: Child Male with Cerebral Palsy - Hours: Wednesday & Friday 16:00 - 21:00 - Monday - Sunday Nights 20:00 - 08:00
About this role
Key Responsibilities (All Roles)
Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with care plans
Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities
Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
Maintain accurate care documentation
Build trusting relationships with clients and families
Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies
Role-Specific Responsibilities
Personal care and daily living support
PEG medication, suctioning, and manual handling
Mobility and repositioning
Monitoring and reporting health changes
Emotional support and companionship
What We’re Looking For
✔ At least 6 months of care experience in the UK
✔ Experience working with children or individuals with complex needs (desirable, not essential)
✔ A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach
✔ Strong verbal and written English skills
✔ Ability to work both independently and within a team
✔ Basic IT skills for completing documentation
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
✔ Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)Ready to Make a Meaningful Difference?
