Residential Children's Worker - Full Time - 2:4 Shift Pattern including sleep-ins
This role works a 2:4 shift pattern with sleep-ins on a rolling 6 day rota, plus additional periodic shifts to equal an average 40hr contract, working over 2 homes.

Your Role
Build positive, respectful relationships with children and young people.
Support care plans, development goals, and emotional well-being.
Promote safeguarding, routines, and behavioural boundaries.
Engage young people in education, recreation, and daily life skills.
Act as a key worker and lead shifts where appropriate.
Maintain records and liaise with families and external professionals.

Desirable:
Experience working with children or vulnerable people.
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Knowledge of child development, trauma, and safeguarding.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks.

- Commitment to complete a Level 3 in Residential Childcare
Desired criteria
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare, or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge / experience of therapeutic children's care
