Senior Line Chef

Cheddar Woods Resort | Permanent | 40 Hours

We're looking for a Senior Line Chef to join us at Cheddar Woods Resort, helping to deliver great food and memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting service, maintaining high standards, and helping the team during our busiest periods.

This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week across five shifts, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving high-quality dishes.

• Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.

• Assisting with stock control, deliveries, and ordering.

• Helping with menu preparation and presentation.

• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running efficiently.

• Supporting the wider kitchen team to deliver excellent guest experiences.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in a similar kitchen role.

• Holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.

• Enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment.

• Works well as part of a team.

• Has a positive attitude and takes pride in producing quality food.

• Is organised, reliable, and calm under pressure.

• Ideally has their own transport due to the resort's location.
